Jack watched as the hot brunette Liz had selected writhed sensually in Ty’s lap. His friend leaned back, looking drunk on her, his eyes roaming her face, her breasts, her thighs spread across his with only a miniscule g-string covering her cunt.

Liz watched, too, and he knew all three of them were getting hotter and hotter, primed for what was to come. And even as entranced as Ty appeared to be with the stripper in his lap, Jack knew his friend was anticipating sharing Liz with him in a little while. And Liz would say yes—he knew that, too. He’d seen an anxious little light in her eye when she’d suggested they come into the strip bar.

When he’d told Ty about what might happen between them and Liz, his friend had at first been disbelieving, and then awed. Not only because of the long-time fantasy they’d harbored, but also because Jack was willing to share her.

“Don’t deny it, buddy, you’ve got a serious thing going with sexy Miss Lizzie. So what I don’t know is—why are you willing to share the one woman I’ve ever seen you feel something solid for?”

Jack had considered denying the accusation, but instead had just been honest. “Because I want her to feel everything. I want her to know ultimate pleasure.”

“And afterward? Will you be okay with it then, knowing I’ve fucked the woman you love?”

Again, Jack had the urge to deny it—damn, when had the word love come into play here? But he didn’t. “Look, I’m pretty sure this isn’t a serious thing to her. She’s in a place where she’s explorin’ her sexuality, learnin’ to lose her inhibitions. No matter what I feel or don’t feel, I think sooner or later she’ll get her fill of sexual experiments and then we’ll probably…go our separate ways. So the after part doesn’t really matter. What matters is that I help her have these experiences, that I help her take her sexuality wherever it wants to go.”

Ty had flashed an incredulous look. “So you’re saying you’re going to let her go, that easy?”

Jack had shrugged. “We’re in different places in life. She’s just broken up with a longtime boyfriend and discovered this new, wild side of herself. I think she’s got a lot of livin’ to do, probably with a lotta people.”

“What if you’re wrong and she only wants to do her living with you?”

He shook his head. “For your information, I invited her to move in with me, and she said no. I can take a hint.”

Ty rolled his eyes. “Sometimes I think you’re a little too laid back for your own good. If I wanted something long-term with a woman, I’d pursue her until she wanted the same thing.”

“That’s where you and I are different, my bon ami,” Jack said. Because he wasn’t Ty—he had a reason not to pursue it. Even if he wanted her, his father’s regrets still played through his head—he sure as hell didn’t want to end up the emotional mess his dad had been, over a woman.
